Suncoast for Kids

Suncoast for Kids, a Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union foundation, is a scholarship and grants initiative that encompasses the 15 county field of membership field. Suncoast for Kids through the local education foundations awards a $1,000 scholarship to one graduating high school senior in each public high school in the 15 counties.

In addition to $1,000 scholarships, teachers can apply for classroom grants to help pay for innovative programs not funded through tax dollars. Principals can also apply for a discretionary fund, which is designed to financially assist students in areas such as field trips, band or sports uniforms, insurance and basic needs.

Eligible Counties: Charlotte, Citrus, Collier, Desoto, Glades, Hardee, Hendry, Hernando, Hillsborough, Lee, Levy, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, and Sumter
