Mission Statement:
The St. Johns County Education Foundation is a public, non-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation whose mission is to lead the efforts of the entire community in raising and distributing funds to support all of our public schools. Understanding that a strong public education system is essential to the healthy future of our community, the St. Johns County Education Foundation is dedicated to supporting teachers and programs which inspire students to pursue lifelong learning creating educated and caring contributors to the world.

Highlights of foundation programs
Teacher of the Year Celebration - Annual banquet celebration honoring all teachers in St. Johns County Horizon Mini-Grants Program - Classroom and school grants to enhance academic achievement SES Tutoring - Free tutoring to qualified K-5 grade students Tools for School - An annual collection of school supplies that is disbursed among the participating schools Art Attack! - An event showcasing the visual and performing art students in the St. Johns County School District Dolly Parton Imagination Library - A community-wide partnership to promote literacy. This program provides a free book a month to children from birth to 5 years of age. Take Stock in Children - a program that provides college scholarships to deserving middle and high school students who have the diesre but not the means to attend college.
