    Highlights of foundation programs:
Founded in 1990, The Education Foundation of Collier County began with the core belief that teachers have the greatest impact on student learning.  The Education Foundation’s initiatives have evolved to support teachers and principals and individual student success within Connect Now, a community articulated framework to support education.

  • Educators continue to learn and become leaders of collaborative professional development through job-embedded graduate degree programs.

  • Schools and families work together to create positive learning environment to foster student academic success through school-based family literacy programs.

  • Deserving students earn a college scholarship through Take Stock in Children Scholarship and Mentoring program.

·         Teachers are recognized and honored through Golden Apple, a community-based teacher recognition program.  Students benefit from exciting learning experiences created by their teachers through Connect With a Classroom, an online classroom grant program.

·         All Collier residents can find their role in educating our community’s children through Connect Now—a blueprint for our future.
