Highlights of Foundation Programs:

College & Career/Technical School Scholarships

For the Class of 2005 the Foundation awarded more than $250,000 for deserving high school seniors!

Take Stock In Children

An incentive scholarship and mentoring program for at-risk middle and high school students.  Upon successful completion of the program, scholars receive a four-year college tuition scholarship. 

Foundation For Success Classroom & School Grants

Providing $50,000 in funds to help teachers and schools develop and enhance programs to encourage student success.

Black Stallion Literacy Project

This unique program helps elementary students discover the joy of reading through the magic of real horses and Walter Farley’s Black Stallion books.

Staff Development & Recognition

Supporting the Alachua County Public schools teacher and staff recognition programs, providing teacher scholarships for continuing education and sponsoring an annual “Back To School” Breakfast with a motivational speaker.

Extended Day Enrichment Program Scholarships

Providing assistance to families in hardship circumstances for Pre-Kindergarten and after-school care.
